I wanted to keep you updated with a few highlights from the past few days:
On Thursday, Lamar welcomed former NRA President David Keene & Governor Scott Walker to Nashville. On Friday, Lamar spoke at the National Governors Association on the importance of Governors setting high standards in education and pledged to continue the fight to keep Washington's sticky fingers off our schools.
On Saturday, Lamar was in Campbell County with former Governor Mike Huckabee to help raise money for the local party so that Republicans win big in August!
This morning, Lamar was in Sumner County speaking at COMPASS - a group dedicated to involving business and civic groups in ensuring Sumner County schools stay strong.
And - in case you missed it - the National Rifle Association announced Friday it was joining Alexander's fight against the Obama administration's new rule that infringes on gun owners Second Amendment rights.
Remember, early voting starts Friday, July 18 and this Saturday is our campaign's statewide " Day of GOTV."
