Good morning from my hometown of Knoxville!

Today is the first day of summer, our Statewide Day of Action, and our East Tennessee campaign office grand opening.  Stay tuned for pictures at our Facebook page

Yesterday, Lamar was at Stowers Machinery in east Knoxville accepting theendorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business , Tennessee's and the nation’s leading small-business association.  In a statement, the NFIB said Lamar “understands that we can't afford to burden Tennessee's and America's job creators with unnecessary regulations and excessive taxes that make it even harder for them to grow and create jobs."

The campaign also released radio advertisements highlighting Lamar’s conservative roots and ability to get results for Tennessee.  The advertisements feature Kix Brooks, Bill Landry, Congressman Jenkins and local mayors from across Tennessee.

Earlier this week, National Right to Life also endorsed Lamar for re-election to the United States Senate, stating “all voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to return Senator Alexander to the Senate, so that he can continue to work to advance vital pro-life public policies.”

Today, on the Statewide Day of Action, our campaign volunteers are in every corner of our state knocking doors, putting out yard signs, and making phone calls.  If you missed out on today's Day of Action, you can still sign up to volunteer

47 Days to Victory!

Best,
